I believe that creativity has the power to reveal parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide, and that healing begins when those parts are seen, honored, and given space to grow. Many of the folks I work with identify as neurodivergent, queer, or simply exhausted from trying to fit into environments that weren't designed with their way of being in mind.

In my work, I bring warmth, humor, and authenticity and offer a space that is collaborative, non-hierarchical, and genuinely curious. A place where folks can feel safe and comfortable enough to unmask and explore their inner world more deeply. Sessions may include art-making, sensory exploration, metaphor, and body-based awareness, but you don't need to consider yourself an artist or know where to begin. We follow your lead, at your pace.

How I Got Here

Growing up as a neurodivergent kid in a small Montana town, I learned early how to mask, adapt, and blend into spaces that weren't always built for people like me. Those experiences taught me a great deal about sensitivity, creativity, and the quiet ways people learn to survive. When I later moved to the Pacific Northwest to study art therapy, I began the slow, meaningful work of unmasking — reconnecting with parts of myself I had long tucked away. Creative process became a way to understand my own internal landscape, and that continues to shape how I support the people I work with.

Professionally, I've worked with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, neurodivergence, identity development, and major life transitions. These relationships have deepened my belief that healing is collaborative, nonlinear, and deeply personal. I've witnessed how art-making, sensory awareness, and narrative work can open doors to insight and regulation when words alone aren't enough. In addition to my training as an art therapist, I also have specialized experience supporting transgender, peri-op, and post-op clients through identity and transition.

  • My work is rooted in both lived experience and clinical training. The modalities I draw on most often in sessions include art therapy, expressive arts, sensorimotor art therapy, and ecotherapy. Together, these approaches help my clients access insight, build regulation, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who they truly are.

    I hold advanced training in Guided Drawing, Clayfield work for sensorimotor art therapy, and the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC), and I have specialized experience supporting transgender, peri-op, and post-op clients through identity and transition.

When I’m not working…

I'm someone who finds grounding in small, sensory, creative rituals. I love experimenting with new art materials, cooking my way through recipes I've never tried before, and getting lost in books about symbolism, myth, and the creative process.

When Portland's weather cooperates, you'll find me exploring neighborhoods and galleries with friends. And when it doesn't, I'm usually tucked somewhere cozy with my cats supervising whatever I'm making. I'm also drawn to gentle forms of movement and embodiment like yoga, bilateral painting or drawing sessions, and slow walks that reset my nervous system.
