Will Hamel

He/Him | Professional Counseling Associate

I believe healing grows from gentle acceptance, committed action, and living in alignment with the values that matter most to you.

If you’re here, you might be looking for more clarity about who you are, how you want to show up in your relationships, or how to feel more at home in your body and mind. My role is to walk alongside you in that process—helping you uncover the values that guide you, strengthen your emotional attunement, and build practices that nurture your identity and relationships.

How I Got Here

Like many people, I spent much of my twenties trying to figure out who I was and where I was going. In that process, I worked in social services and saw just how heavy life can feel when support and resources aren’t accessible. Those experiences taught me the importance of having a place where you feel truly seen and understood—something I now aim to offer my clients in therapy.

I also come to this work as a deeply creative person. Creativity brings me joy and purpose, but it also stirs up sensitivity, perfectionism, anxiety, and a closeness to grief. I know what it’s like to wrestle with both the beauty and the weight of our inner worlds, and that perspective shapes the way I’ll sit with you in yours.

  • My work is guided by acceptance, attunement, creativity, flexibility, humor, and trust. In sessions, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative space to explore both body and mind, clarify your values, and try out new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Together, we’ll make room for both depth and lightness as you build a life that feels more aligned.
